SPACER CORRECTION
Stretched earlobes occur as a result of inserting ring ‘spacers’ into the ear lobe.
Simply removing the ring spacer does not result in the ear lobe skin shrinking back to its original size.
Stretched earlobes occur as a result of inserting ring ‘spacers’ into the ear lobe.
Simply removing the ring spacer does not result in the ear lobe skin shrinking back to its original size.
Spacer correction surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic and the procedure lasts approx. 20-45mins. The stretched skin can be excised and the ear lobe re-shaped.
Following the surgery, you will be required to come back to clinic after one week for a dressing removal or change, and a check up to ensure everything is settling.
